Our Falkland Islands tourism branch was recognised at the 2020 Falkland Islands Tourism Board‘s Awards. Penguin Travel won two awards: firstly, the Visitor Experience of the Year for our 74 Days Tour; and secondly, the Agency of the Year Award.
Further awards went to members of the community that have worked with us at Penguin Travel: Leon Mitchell received the Best Driver Award; Jan Miller won the Taste of the Falklands Award, for her treats for the 74 Days Tour; and Nancy Jennings, one of our tour guides, won the Tour Guide of the Year Award.
The ceremony hosted by Governor Nigel Phillips at Government House had been postponed this year due to coronavirus.
