£250 donation for FIODA
We were very pleased to present a cheque to Chris from FIODA for £250. Chris did a fantastic job assisting us in lighting up our Christmas Party last December. The funds will be used to purchase new equipment.
With the Community Matters Scheme we help local charities every month.
Set up in 2004, the Charity Committee has donated over £230,000 to various local charities, sporting groups and events. These have come in the form of monetary donations, prizes, purchase of equipment and sponsorships.
The Charity Committee have a dedicated Facebook page to showcase our support of these charities and we encourage members of the community to approach us if they believe we can be of assistance.

FIC donated £83.35 to the Falkland Islands Table Tennis Association as part of the Community Matters Green Token Scheme.
We were pleased to donate £222.95 to the Stanley Netball Club as part of our Community Matters Green Token Scheme.
The funds from this donation will be used to purchase supplies for arts and crafts.
As part of our Community Matters Green Tokens Scheme, the Falkland Islands Badminton Association were presented a cheque for £98.28.
We were happy to present local nursery Stanley Kids Zone with a cheque for £204.40 as part of our Community Matters Green Tokens Scheme.
The Falkland Islands Museum and National Trust received £158.91 as part of our Community Matters Green Tokens Scheme.
The Stanley Running Club were presented a cheque with a £268.94 donation as part of our Community Matters Scheme.
We presented a cheque to Stanley House as part of our Community Matters Green Token Scheme.
We presented the Alex McGhie Fund with a cheque for £215.40 as part of our Community Matters Green Token Scheme.
