The local charity has received £174.83 as part of our Community Matters Green Token Scheme.
We support a variety of local initiatives every month
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Set up in 2004 as the Charity Committee, the renamed Community Engagement Team has donated over £250,000 to various local charities, sporting groups and events. These have taken the form of monetary donations, prizes, purchases of equipment and sponsorships.
The Community Engagement Team has a dedicated Facebook page to showcase our support of these initiatives and we encourage members of the community to approach us if they believe we can be of assistance. Falklands Conservation receives £205.84 donation
We presented the charity with a cheque for £205.84 as part of our Community Matters Green Token Scheme. The funds will be used towards the cleaning of oil-slicked penguins.

£2,500 donation to Southern Heartbeat
We are proud to make a donation to Southern Heartbeat, a local charitable organisation raising money to provide defibrillators and first-aid training to the Falkland Islands.
£1,500 donation to the Mid-winter Swim
FIC presented a cheque for £1,500 to the annual Falkland Islands Mid-winter Swim.
FIC and CAIB donate £10,000 to FIOGA
The Falkland Islands Company and their insurance partner Caribbean Alliance Insurance have jointly donated £10,000 to The Falkland Islands Games Association ahead of the islands being represented in Gibraltar.
Community Matters Scheme
The Falkland Islands Fire & Rescue Service received a donation of £200 from our Community Matters Scheme. The funds were used to support the Santa’s grotto organised by the Falkland Islands Emergency Services.
